A glimmer of news this week, when producer Amy Pascal hinted that an announcement on the new James Bond actor could happen by the end of the year. Still very vague, but it means things seem to be moving according to schedule and filming could start next year for a 2028 release of the film. I hope we get the announcement sooner or later, if it was only to stop the endless barrage of speculation about the next Bond actor, which by now probably has mentioned every male actor alive.

007 First Light is the game that keeps on giving, with this week: a full soundtrack, available for free on all streaming platforms and YouTube!

Also, I got to actually use one of Bond’s gadgets that will be available in the game later this year - stay tuned for my new video on Instagram that will drop today around 12.30 EST.

This week I added a page on the Bond Lifestyle website about the GoldenEye Limpet mine, often replicated by fans and now available as an official replica by Factory Entertainment.

Milan Records with IO Interactive and Amazon MGM Studios has released the official soundtrack for 007 First Light and it’s available for free.

An Aston Martin Vanquish was temporarily detained by German customs after it was brought across the border to The Netherlands without the required customs declaration.

Factory Entertainment announced the first official replica of the Goldeneye 007 Limpet Mine. Limited to 500, the mine can now be pre-ordered.

From Sweden With Love has reported that James Bond's car - a Saab 900 Turbo nicknamed the Silver Beast which featured in the first three James Bond continuation novels written by John Gardner (Licence Renewed, For Special Services and Icebreaker) - is back on display thanks to the Saab Car Museum, currently at NOVA Arena in Trollhättan, Sweden. This time as one of over 100 cars in the ongoing The Box exhibition which runs until 30th September 2026.
