Q&A

For this newsletter, we’re bringing Daniel Gaster into the interrogation room. A Man in A Field, reporting for From Tailors With Love, reviewing Bond Wardrobe items following years of use, aiming to help inform members of the community about the quality and longevity of these sartorial items we all crave. Check out his outfit choices on his Instagram page.

Q. Which three Bond clothes or accessories do you wear the most?
A. I’ve worn my Omega Seamaster from Casino Royale for the last 12 years, it’d probably had the most wear out of everything.

After that probably my Crockett & Jones Tetbury boots, as they go with everything, and are so comfortable.

My TOM FORD Marko sunglasses, again very comfortable, and go with almost everything.

Q. If you could keep only 1 item of your Bond collection, what would it be?
A. It would be my Anthony Sinclair suit I got married in.

Q. What is your most popular post/video?
A. I think it’s my review of the Barbour Commander jacket for the From Tailors with Love website, it’s had over 12,000 views.

Q. Which Bond location do you still want to visit?
A. I’ve always dreamed about going to the Caribbean!

Q. If you could meet any Bond actor (even if they’re no longer with us), who would that be and why?
A. The movie Goldeneye was my entry point, I saw it in the cinema when I was 11! I’d love to have a coffee and a chat with Pierce Brosnan.

Q. Which Bond-related song do you want to add to the Bond Lifestyle Playlist on Spotify / YouTube?
A. “Land of a Thousand Words” by the Scissor Sisters, remember listening to this and thinking it could be the opening of a Bond movie, but then I saw the music video, and then you know that was what they were going for!

Q. Rolex or Omega?
A. Omega!
