“The Norelco 8894XL shaver was released in 2002. So if you have been using it from 2002 to 2017, that is 15 years. However, I agree that this is the best shaver ever. I purchased mine in 2002 and it is now 2025. That is 23 years. I cannot believe that the original battery still charges to a full charge and lasts as long as it was when it was new. A few years ago I purchased a newer model of Norelco shaver and did not like it because it was not comfortable to hold and the replacement blades were too expensive. The Norelco 8894XL shaver is the best shaver ever made. They sell on eBay for almost $300 used.”

Disco Volante Yacht Instruments
Prop Store recently sold a set of Disco Volante yacht instruments from the Bond film Thunderball for £1,512 ($2,000), the same price that was paid for a Stromberg Henchman suit.
Last week I was sad to learn about the passing of fellow Bond fan Andreas Pott. For many years, Andreas was very active for and honorary president of the German James Bond club.
I met Andreas on numerous occasions and we were in contact about German Club as well as Bond watches and other celebrity watches, something he enjoyed and collected.
Rest in Peace, Andreas.

I’m building the 1:8 Scale Aston Martin DB5 from Agora. Each month, I get another box with parts. So far, I worked on Box One, which includes the bonnet, a wheel (with real spokes) and the right door with a telephone.
