There has not been much news since last week’s story about Amazon’s total creative take-over of the franchise. I’m cautiously optimistic about the future of Bond, but it’s too early to tell. Since the deal won’t be formalized until May, we probably won’t hear any updates about Bond 26 before that.

For now, there are some little nuggets of Lifestyle news that we can focus on and I will soon announce the first Bond Lifestyle 20-year anniversary celebrations that will happen this year.

Aston Martin DB5 Goldfinger Continuation fails to sell at auction

The Aston Martin DB5 Continuation Goldfinger that was offered for sale at SupercarBlondie's SBX Auction platform failed to meet the reserve price.

The last time I checked, the bidding was at £2,650,000, but the final bids are not shown anymore, so we can’t see the highest bid. Note that the original price of this car was £2,750,000 GBP.
