Wouldn’t we all just love to see the Bond actor announced, even if it’s just to put a stop to all the rumours? The latest top rumours and highest bookmaker odds for the next Bond actor: Jack Barton, Jack Lowden, Callum Turner, Jacob Elordi, Paul Mescal, and Harris Dickinson. Will we hear something on Global James Bond Day (October 5th), which is now only one month away? Will a leak force Amazon to reveal the actor sooner than later? Or will we just have to wait a few more months…

Let’s focus on the 20 Year Anniversary of Casino Royale: there are not many releases to celebrate this, but Anthony Sinclair has once again stepped up and has given us an exact remake of the linen suit and shirt seen in the opening sequence of the 2006 film (read more).

This week also saw an MI6 Internship opening, the release of a trailer for a new WWII spy film with lots of direct Bond references, and the sale of a Land Rover once owned by Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz.

A bit late in the season, but if you’re still looking for a pair of Casino Royale swim trunks, maybe this fairly reasonably priced pair on eBay is the one!

The dark navy linen suit worn by Daniel Craig as James Bond during the brutal opening sequence of Casino Royale has been recreated by Anthony Sinclair in collaboration with Academy Costumes, using the original patterns and production notes from the 2006 film.

The suit is priced at £1,150 / $1,595, while the matching First Kill Shirt costs £295 / $395.

A new trailer for the upcoming film Fortitude is filled with Bond links and references.

Fortitude is an upcoming spy action-adventure film starring Nicolas Cage as Dusko Popov (a known inspiration for the character of James Bond), Art Malik as Ian Fleming and other stars including Matthew Goode, Ed Skrein, Alice Eve, Michael Sheen and Ben Kingsley.

In the trailer, Nicolas Cage as Popov utters the famous words “Vodka Martini. Shaken, not stirred” and introduces himself to Ian Fleming as Popov, Duško Popov.

The last shot of the trailer is an even more obvious reference to Bond, as the room number 87 changes to 007 right in front of Ian Fleming’s eyes.

A remarkably low-mileage 2003 Ford Thunderbird 007 Edition, created to celebrate the car’s appearance in Die Another Day, has been offered for sale with an asking price of $59,998.

A 1959 Land Rover 109 Series II formerly owned by Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz has sold at Bring a Trailer. The car came with a handwritten note.
