The latest Bond casting rumours claim that Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been selected as the new James Bond. Although the story originated in The Sun and ‘insiders’ have claimed this is not true, it has been picked up by global media on a scale and with a certainty and speed not seen before. It’s a tricky one because I can definitely see ATJ as the new Bond, so I won’t dismiss it completely, but there are many reasons that it is very unlikely that EON already has signed a new actor at this stage. But there’s no doubt that he’s a new top contender and much more likely than the tiresome articles about Henry Cavill and Idris Elba (who are both too old now for any fresh reboot of the series).

This week saw the release of one of the most expensive 007 collectibles (not counting any vehicles) of all time: a Fabergé x Octopussy Egg can be yours for £151,200.

You can see me and Martijn Mulder on the Skinny Bridge in Amsterdam in Bond fan Benjamin Lind’s documentary “A BOND FOR LIFE - How James Bond changed my Life”.

Shot in seven European countries, including at original James Bond locations, the film takes the viewer on a colorful journey through the narrator's fateful and challenging times.

In addition to Bond experts and fans from all over the world, guest stars such as film composer David Arnold, actresses Nikki van der Zyl, Luciana Paluzzi and Martine Beswick as well as songwriter and Oscar winner Don Black, production designer and Oscar winner Sir Ken Adam and actors Mads Mikkelsen and Götz Otto will share their experiences with James Bond.
