We’re less than two weeks away from the launch of the game 007 First Light. This release is the closest we’ll see to a Bond release for another two years, so for the gamers among us this will make the long wait a bit more bearable.

No updates on the film, but a small product release this week: Globe-Trotter Thunderball Packing Cubes.

Lotus has announced a new V8 hybrid supercar, which possibly could get the famous Esprit name. Maybe Bond could drive the prototype in Bond 26?

From Sweden With Love reports that a new documentary titled Ian Fleming and the Curse of James Bond premiered on Sky Arts at 10.00 pm on 12th May 2026, and will be repeated on 17th May 2026 at 1.00pm, exploring the life of the Bond creator.

Is Lotus bringing back the Esprit? The brand teased a new hybrid V8 ‘Type 135’ which will be launched in 2028.

From the press release: “[…] the next development of Lotus’ proprietary hybrid technology will be the unveiling of its first ever supercar, Type 135, planned for 2028. This will be an all-new car, featuring a V8 hybrid powertrain, with over 1000PS. It is expected to be manufactured in Europe, and further details of the car will be announced later this year.”

Perhaps Bond can drive the prototype in Bond 26?
