Q&A

For this newsletter, we’re bringing Luke Taggart aka BondsApartment, into the interrogation room. Luke posts about everything James Bond and a little bit of Star Wars. You can find Luke on Instagram and YouTube.

Q. Which three Bond clothes or accessories do you wear the most?
A. Oh this is tough! My Omega Planet Ocean would be number one. Number two would have to be the N.Peal turtleneck from SPECTRE. Lastly, Number three would be the Vuarnet Edge sunglasses from No Time To Die!

Q. If you could keep only 1 item of your Bond collection, what would it be?
A. Although the Goldeneye Omega was my first true “grail” watch, the one item I would keep is my Omega Planet Ocean from Skyfall. This was a wedding gift from my wife, so it holds the most sentimental value, by far.

Q. What is your most popular post/video?
A. My most popular video, shockingly, is the review of the Palladium Boots from NTTD! My boots are the correct make and model, but not the screen-accurate color. (From what I understand) I’m still shocked that one did so well. Right behind that though, is the review of the Skyfall Barbour jacket. That video still generates comments on a weekly basis. Even some offers to buy my jacket. Not for sale!

Q. Which Bond location do you still want to visit?
A. London & Matera! I’m hoping to hit both locations in one trip, sometime soon. I’m Italian, so Italy is a must.

Q. If you could meet any Bond actor (even if they’re no longer with us), who would that be and why?
A. As much as I love Daniel Craig, I think Brosnan would be my choice. I believe we’d be able to connect and have great conversations. I’m a 90’s kid, Brosnan is my guy!

Q. Which Bond-related song do you want to add to the Bond Lifestyle Playlist on Spotify / YouTube?
A. “The World Is Not Enough'“ by Garbage! (Not sure what film it’s from though…) This is one of my all-time favorite Bond themes. Highly underrated!

Q. Rolex or Omega?
A. Why? Are you offering? (Kyle Barbeau made me say that!).

My serious answer, Omega. Omega is the reason I’m filling out this questionnaire. As a pre-teen discovering James Bond for the first time through Goldeneye 64, the Omega watch was one of the most intriguing things about the character, to me. The Omega Seamaster got me into Bond, watches, and more. I’ll always have an enormous sentimental connection with the brand.
