YARD-O-LED and the Ian Fleming Estate have revealed a limited edition luxury writing set celebrating Casino Royale, the first James Bond novel.

The most incredible feature of YARD-O-LED’s new masterpiece is the built-in timepiece, directly inspired by Fleming’s famously punctual approach to writing.

Available now at YARD-O-LED, the set is priced at £4,750 for the fountain pen and £4,450 for the rollerball pen.

This is the first of a series of collaborations that will pay homage to Ian Fleming and the James Bond books.

On Tuesday, a mysterious new Seamaster product page appeared on the OMEGA website, not showing any photos, but with some very deliberate clues hiding in plain sight.

The SPECTRE logo appears in the website code, while the OMEGA logo on the page itself briefly changes into the famous SPECTRE octopus.

The blank product page gives us a few details, but not much.

James Bond has a new watch, at least on the pages of the latest 007 novel. In King Zero, the new James Bond adventure by Charlie Higson, Bond is revealed to own a vintage Vertex Cal 59 W.W.W. military watch dating from the Second World War.

Six Bonds are heading back to the big screen.

Regal is bringing one film from each James Bond era back to US cinemas, with a different 007 every Monday from October 5 through November 9.

If you’re outside the US, Casino Royale is also returning to cinemas around the world this October for its 20th anniversary, presented on a new 4K DCP. Check your local cinema.

For nearly 50 years, 007 Magazine has been dedicated to documenting the world of Ian Fleming and James Bond and the brand new 007 Magazine Substack will continue that work in a space built for writing, free from algorithms and distractions.

James Bond’s music takes centre stage in Naples on October 7 with 007 Operation Sound, a live concert and storytelling event celebrating more than 60 years of 007 soundtracks.

Vocalist Roberta Andreozzi and pianist Alessandro Crescenzo will perform classics including Goldfinger, You Only Live Twice, Live and Let Die, GoldenEye and SkyFall, while Bond author and journalist Michelangelo Iossa shares stories and anecdotes behind the music.

he event takes place at Fondazione Il Canto di Virgilio at 8:30 PM, with tickets priced at €10 (€8 reduced).

Bond by the Beach is a fundraising event benefiting the Ian Fleming Foundation’s Teen Literacy Grant program in conjunction with Shadowland on Silver Beach. Taking place on October 16 and 17 in St. Joseph, Michigan, the IFF will showcase Bond vehicles and memorabilia and host a few events including a Goldfinger screening and Black Tie Gala.
